Power over Ethernet (PoE) HAT for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+

The official Power over Ethernet (PoE) add-on board for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. Use this HAT to power a Raspberry Pi via an Ethernet cable, removing the need for a separate power supply, an ideal solution for embedded and IoT projects.

The Raspberry Pi Power over Ethernet HAT is a small accessory for the Raspberry Pi computer. It can only be used with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (launched June 2019) and the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (launched March 2018). The PoE HAT allows you to power your Raspberry Pi using Power over Ethernet–enabled networks; for this product to be used, the network it is connected to needs to have power-sourcing equipment installed.
  • Power over Ethernet 802.3af compliant
  • Class 2 device
  • Fully isolate Switched-Mode Power Supply (SMPS)
  • 36-56V Input Voltage
  • 5V Output Voltage
  • Supplies up to 2.5A
  • Fan Control
  • Plug-and-play compatibility with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+

We would like to point out that this PoЕ module is the original one offered by the Raspberry Foundation and is not compatible with MaticBox3 & MaticBox4 (soon in the store), because there is an intermediate wall in the box to strengthen the box structure which prevents the module from being mounted. We are currently developing our PoE module that is compatible with MaticBox3 & MaticBox4.
